CHAPEL OF ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA. IN FRONT OF THE NAVE, THE ALTAR OF ST. JACKA

In the architectural sense, it is a construction analogous to the previous chapel, built around the middle of XVII
w. Probably this altar was made by Sebastian Zeisel.

In the altar there is an image from the middle XVII century presenting Saint. Catherine of Siena, Dominican, stigmatic
and doctor of the Church. On the sides of the altar there are two allegorical statues symbolizing faith (with a cross)
and martyrdom (cogwheel). On the top of the altar there is a picture of Saint. Agates from the beginning XVIII century

An image from the beginning of the 19th century was hung on the western wall. XVIII century showing the retreat of Khmelnytsky’s troops from Lublin after prayers and processions with the relics of the Holy Cross.
